About My Work
I’m a counselling psychologist in private practice, with an MSc in Mental Health Studies from King’s College London. I work with young adults and professionals navigating experiences like complex trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, and questions of self-worth.
My approach is trauma-informed and somatically oriented. This means we don’t only work with thoughts, but also with what your body holds and how your past continues to shape your present.
A core part of my work is helping you make sense of yourself within the contexts that have shaped you. From there, we begin to build practical ways back to more choice, agency, and steadier connection in your life and relationships.
How Therapy With Me Feels
Therapy here is not about fixing you. It is about witnessing you with compassion.
I offer a steady space to slow down and listen to what’s happening in your mind, emotions, and body. The work is warm and gentle, with enough containment for even difficult feelings to be held.
A space rooted in curiosity, care and personal liberation

My Approach
Trauma-informed and somatically oriented
We work with both your thoughts and your nervous system, paying attention to how your body holds and responds to past experiences.
Parts-based work
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we work with different parts of you that hold distinct feelings, needs, and responses, helping them feel heard and less in conflict.
Relational and attachment-based
We explore how early relationships shape the way you connect, set boundaries, and experience closeness today.
Queer-affirmative and systemic lens
Your experiences are understood within the larger social and cultural contexts you’re part of, including identity, marginalisation, and power.
What You Might Be Looking For
You might be here because you are seeking a space to begin, just as you are.
You feel overwhelmed, but don’t fully understand why
You’re tired of repeating the same patterns in relationships
You’re holding a lot of shame or self-doubt
You want to understand yourself more deeply
You’re seeking a space where you can just be, without performing or explaining everything perfectly
If any of this resonates, therapy can be a place to explore what comes next, at your own pace.
Support & FAQs
How can I tell if we are the right match?
The initial discovery call is our time to explore that. It allows you to describe your needs, ask about my approach, and experience whether the conversation feels comfortable for you.
What is the first appointment like?
We start slowly and with care. There is no pressure to recount your whole history; instead, we focus on what brings you here now and how this space can best serve you.
Is it necessary to have specific therapy goals?
Not at all. It is common to arrive feeling unsure of what you need. We can work together to uncover those goals naturally as we look at your life experiences.
How many sessions will I need?
I focus on depth and long-term transformation. While there is no set timeline, most of my clients work with me for several months to deeply process and shift ingrained patterns.
What if I am hesitant to speak?
That is a natural part of the process. We respect your pace, and your comfort always comes first. We can even explore the reasons behind that hesitation together when you feel ready.
Client Stories
I really look forward to my sessions with Rachika. They’re often the most grounding and calming part of my week, irrespective of what we discuss.
She creates a space that stays with me long after the session ends, encouraging me to reflect by helping me engage more deeply with my thoughts and emotions. With her, I’m learning to understand myself in a more honest and meaningful way.
Truly grateful. ♥️
Client, AG
“For the first time, my neurodivergence wasn't treated as something to be 'fixed' but as a part of my landscape that we explored together with kindness.”
Client, early 30s
“Therapy became a steadying anchor during a period of identity transition. I felt witnessed in a way that didn't demand I have all the answers yet.”
